On 6^th  and 7^thApril, our 4^th grade students participated in the Üsküdar Selimiye Children’s Library activities as part of the “Libraries Week".

The staff who greeted our students at the entrance of the historical library, took our students to the hall suitable for their age groups and gave information about the library. Stating that the library serves children up to the age of 15, the officials announced that each student can become a member of the library with a digital address through their parents.

After the briefing, our students read  the books they chose from the shelves. After the reading hour, they played the game “Finding the Book from the Shelves” with the library staff. Through the game, they learned that

the books were not randomly arranged on the shelves, but according to the country of the author and the type of the book.
