After covering the subject of “Conquest of Istanbul" with our 7^th grade students, we visited the Panorama 1453 History Museum in order to have a permanent place in our students' minds and to better understand the conditions of that period.

We examined for a long time the pictures depicting how Fatih Sultan Mehmet conquered Istanbul. Our students showed great interest in the paintings and biographies of the sultans in the galleries of the museum. At the end of our trip, we went back to those days with an illuminated show depicting the conquest of Istanbul with a magnificent visual show.
