We use suffixes in our daily lives, even though we are not aware of it. There are many suffixes in our language. These; construction affixes and inflexional affixes.

In the Turkish lessons, we covered the subject of construction suffix with our 5th graders. In order to increase the awareness of our students, we organized the “I Know the Construction Affixes " event. With the activities, our students created new words by adding the suffixes to the root words. Through this, they learned the subject of constructing affixes in a fun way.
