English and German Orientation Lessons with 4th grade students

English and German orientation activities were conducted with 4A class students under the guidance of our 5th-grade teachers. In the German lesson, students had fun learning topics that will be covered in the upcoming year, together with our 6th-grade students, to facilitate their transition to secondary school. Our 6th-grade students introduced themselves using puppets and posed questions to our 4th-grade students to reciprocate introductions. In the English class, an activity themed “My City" was conducted with students, accompanied by our foreign teacher. Names of buildings and public places in their city were taught practically and enjoyably. After the activities concluded, we proceeded to the exhibition area at the high school information desk. Model project examples, prepared by our 5th graders in alignment with the theme, were showcased in English lessons, and projects created by our middle school students in German lessons were presented. At the conclusion of the session, ID cards for the German course and bookmarks, prepared in accordance with the theme of ‘My City’ for the English course, were distributed as gifts to our students.
