We organized the “Countries Festival” with the participation of Private Atacan Anatolian High School students. The cuisines of Mexico, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, the United States of America, England, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece and the most interesting dishes of our country were prepared by our students and introduced to the school community. There were separated stands created for each country, and bulletin boards promoting countries’ meals were prepared. The students who took part in the event sold the food they prepared. The fact that the income from the sales would be transferred to the Health and Education Foundation for Children with Leukaemia (LÖSEV) and the HAYTAP Association excited our students and greatly increased their participation in the event. Through this activity, we achieved our goal for students to taste the food of different nations and to get to know their cultures, and to take part in a social responsibility project.
