BUTTERFLY FARM

BUTTERFLY FARM

Did you know that there are 200,000 different species of butterflies in the world, ranging in length from 1.5 to 30 cm? Today we have learned about the life of butterflies at the butterfly farm. We watched butterflies hatch from eggs and turn into butterflies, and then observed butterfly pupae.

Following that, we went to the greenhouse, which had the warmth and humidity of rainforests, and observed the butterflies specially produced to be kept on farms all over the world. We closely watched butterflies on flower nectar and fruits, and saw butterflies eating oranges.

We played games in the lush nature of the butterfly farm. We had the opportunity to closely examine the butterflies. We came back from our trip with brand new information and a lot of fun.
